It was a night of glamour and charitable deeds, held at Armada Hotel, Petaling Jaya on the 29th November 2008. The KDU Alumni Annual Charity Dinner and Dance, the 'Black & White Ball' was attended by more than 60 people, consisting of graduate members, their partners and friends, as well as current KDU students who all came in full support for this fun event in aid of charity. The charity chosen this year is VOLC (Victory Outreach & Learning Centre) which caters to the educational needs of Vietnamese immigrant children living in Malaysia with their parents.

At the entrance, a booth allowing guests to obtain free body art and free application forms to obtain a 1Utama OneCard was set up, and saw lots of traffic from the guests.

The night ended around 10pm with the dance floor being open to the guest who stayed on to party the night until 11:30pm.

Overall, it was a fun night of meeting old friends, making new friends, networking and doing a good deed all in one.
